Continuing its war against medicines, the Himanta Biswa Sarma-led Assam govt has publically destroyed seized medicines price around Rs 44 crore in the closing 24 hours.
On Friday, the police and administration of Karimganj district of Assam disposed of a marvelous amount of seized medicines price Rs 43 crore. Medication price Rs 43 crore were destroyed right thru a ‘Medication disposal programme’ held at Police Reserve ground, Junitilla in Karimganj district.
Medication price crores destroyed
In step with the Karimganj district police, around 3.16 kg of heroin price Rs 12.64 crore, 4.51 lakh pieces of Yaba pills price Rs 22.57 crore, 1.11 lakh bottles of cough syrup price Rs 5.56 crore, bigger than 2100 kg of ganja price Rs 2.17 crore were destroyed.
“ A tale-breaking seizure of substances has been reported in Karimganj district in closing six months. Excessive charge consignments price crores of rupees were recovered in the total police dwelling areas in the district.
