Border Security Drive (BSF) personnel fired dawdle fuel at smugglers on the Indo-Bangladesh border and recovered 6 kg of silver adorns.
The incident took save in Border Out Post (BOP) Gongra in West Bengal’s Nadia district when BSF troops seen 12 to 15 smugglers drawing shut the International Border within the early morning hours of December 20. The smugglers saved on transferring forward despite warnings from the BSF. After they did not relent, the alert personnel fired dawdle fuel at them.
Amid the firing, the smugglers fled the situation. The troops then recovered the silver adorns weighing 6 kg.
The seized jewelry became handed over to the customs division in Tehatta for additional honest action.
