A month after quitting the Congress and becoming a member of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), light Goa MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco on Sunday resigned from the main membership of the TMC.
“AITC has obtained a letter from Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco resigning from main membership of the social gathering. We had welcomed him to the social gathering as now we have faith loads of others. Now that he wishes to head away, we would like him smartly,” study an announcement issued by Mahua Moitra, Lok Sabha MP and Goa in-impress of TMC.
The three-time MLA used to be light working president of the Congress dispute unit.

Lourenco had left Congress and joined the TMC after meeting Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee in Kolkata in December.
The resignation comes at a time when TMC nationwide frequent secretary Abhishek Banerjee is scheduled to focus on about with Goa for a two-day tour sooner than the elections.
The Assembly election in Goa is scheduled to be held on February 14.
