The private Twitter handle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi became temporarily hacked at some level of the early hours of Sunday. Whereas the story became restored almost right this moment after, a tweet promoting cryptocurrency had already been shared from the handle and became later deleted.
“The Twitter handle of PM @narendramodi became very temporarily compromised. The topic became escalated to Twitter and the story has been straight secured. In the transient length that the story became compromised, any tweet shared ought to easy be uncared for,” PMO India stated in a tweet.

Sooner than the story became restored, a tweet became shared with a URL on PM Modi’s timeline which be taught, “India has officially adopted bitcoin as soft soft. The authorities has officially sold 500 BTC and is distributing them to all residents of the country.”
The tweet shared on PM Modi’s story after it became hacked. The tweet has now been deleted.
In September 2020, the Twitter story of PM Modi’s private website online became hacked and tweets soliciting cryptocurrency were posted.
In a series of tweets, the messages posted on Twitter story of PM Modi’s private website online, which matches by the handle narendramodi_in, be taught: “I allure to you all to donate generously to PM National Relief Fund for Covid-19. Minutes later, one other tweet became posted, announcing, “Sure this story is hacked by John Wick (hckindia@tutanota.com), We catch not hacked Paytm Mall.”
The tweets were later taken down.
